The government of Uganda has cleared MP Bobi Wine to leave the country for further medical attention abroad.
This follows yesterday’s incident where the young legislator was blocked from leaving the country.
Bobi Wine was released from police custody on Monday this week after close to three weeks at the hands of the military and the police.
Sources reveal that the government decided to let him go after it failed to provide reasons as to why he couldn’t be allowed to leave the country for further medication.
Bobi Wine is headed to the USA for specialized check up following the torture he underwent at the hands of the military.
